Piano Express

PIANO EXPRESS is a cultural project created by pianist Adriana Toacsen, which takes modern and contemporary music out of concert halls and brings it into the public space, among people.

For this year's edition we thought of using the idea of "Express" as if it were an old school newspaper through which we bring you the latest news in contemporary music. That's why, in the project trailer we tried to enliven the fast-paced city life, which stops for a moment to breathe some new music.

Music and the city should not be two separate elements, but together they should compose the entire soundscape. In a world where the noise pollution in cities tires us and distracts us from our own thoughts, the piano comes as a hypnotic layer that helps us, even for a second, to stop and have a moment for ourselves.
